My Approach

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is an interactive process that acts as a tool to reflect and think about our emotions, feelings, attitudes and behaviours.

I have come to believe that in our modern lives psychological problems are common and can impact anyone and at any point in life. Some are short-lived while others can last longer and persist which can lead to unpleasant lives.

This space is for you to explore these issues and difficulties, and put words around those feelings, thoughts and moments that have been kept silent and in isolation.

Looking into these problems is helpful because we bring new meanings to our lives and eventually we improve how we are in relationships and with ourselves – it brings confidence to who we are.

I work within a psychodynamic framework and practically it means that at times we will talk and examine how past experiences and relationships can be related to what is happening for you now. In other words, when necessary we will examine how the past exerts a powerful effect to your present life.
